Tambaba: where to eat in the naturist beach area

In Tambaba there are areas with and without naturism, its own code of conduct, and restaurants mentioned in the press in the region.

Tambaba, in Conde, is recognized as a naturist beach and is divided into two stretches: one open to clothed visitors, where families circulate, and another designated for naturism, separated by a gateway, according to Catraca Livre (06/30/2019). The same report describes, in both stretches, Northeastern cuisine based on seafood, as well as tables, beach umbrellas, parking and police presence. Since it dates from 2019, this description of the infrastructure should be confirmed on site.

The code of conduct for the naturist stretch appears in the same 2019 material: unaccompanied men are not allowed to enter, and sexual acts are prohibited. No current official source (city hall, state government or MPF) confirming these rules was found, so do not treat this as up-to-date information: check the signage at the entrance to the stretch. Those who prefer not to take part in naturism may eat and stay in the stretch for clothed visitors, with no requirement to undress. Respecting other people's space is the central rule.

In the area, Paraíba Business (08/23/2026) cites Casa de Taipa Tambaba, with regional cuisine featuring galinha de capoeira, rubacão and carne de sol, and Restaurante Brasilândia Tambaba. The report states operating hours, but these change and should be confirmed. No dated journalistic or institutional sources were found naming stalls on the sand itself.

The beach is also undergoing a planning process. On March 30, 2026, the MPF brought together state agencies, the city hall, the Federal Heritage Authority (SPU) and naturist associations to curb irregular construction and plan environmentally appropriate infrastructure; a field inspection took place on April 16. This means support infrastructure may change.
