Coqueirinho: eating with a view of the cliffs

Coqueirinho has restaurants near the beach, but a health inspection shutdown in January 2026 shows why it's worth checking a venue before going.
Coqueirinho is one of Conde's most sought-after beaches, known for its cliffs, its set of canyons and its coconut groves. Unlike Jacumã, the setting is more rustic, and dining happens in restaurants and bars near the beach, rather than along a continuous strip of kiosks.
Among the venues cited by the recent press is Rocha Mar, a seafood restaurant with fish, shrimp and seafood stews, according to a report by Paraíba Business from August 23, 2026. The same piece mentions operating hours, but they may change, and it's advisable to confirm directly with the venue. No other dated journalistic or institutional sources were found that would allow naming more establishments with confidence.
Another relevant piece of information concerns inspection. On January 30, 2026, a joint operation by health inspectors, the Fire Department and environmental agencies shut down the bar Canyon de Coqueirinho, after finding expired products, improperly stored food, unidentified shellfish, sewage discharged directly, and an expired conformity certificate, according to Jornal da Paraíba. The report does not state whether the venue has reopened, and this guide neither recommends nor rules it out: it only notes that it's worth asking about the current situation.
On the subject of cliffs, the MPF's most recent study, from March 2026, deals specifically with Carapibus, not Coqueirinho. Even so, the principle applies to any sandstone bluff: the rock is fragile, can give way suddenly, and the risk increases at high tide and after heavy rain. Enjoy the view from lookout points and areas away from the edge, without sitting or walking near the base.
