Paraíba Restaurant Week: how it works and what to expect

The festival offers fixed-price menus with starter, main course and dessert; the 9th edition runs from October 15 to November 15, 2026.

Paraíba Restaurant Week is a food festival in which each participating restaurant puts together a special menu with starter, main course and dessert for a fixed price. Drinks and the service charge are billed separately. The idea, according to Paraíba Business, comes from the model created in New York in the 1990s.

The most recently announced edition is the 9th. According to a report from October 2, 2026, it runs from October 15 to November 15, with 51 restaurants: 45 in João Pessoa and six in Campina Grande, which is taking part for the first time. The prices announced for 2026 are: Menu Week, R$ 69.90 for lunch and R$ 76.90 for dinner; Menu Plus, R$ 87.90 for lunch and R$ 98.90 for dinner.

For comparison, in the 8th edition, from March 26 to April 26, 2026, the Menu Week cost R$ 62.90 (lunch) and R$ 69.90 (dinner), and the Menu Plus, R$ 79.90 and R$ 89.90, with 45 restaurants in the capital. These same prices applied in 2025 and in the 6th edition, in 2024, when Jornal da Paraíba listed, among the participants, Adega, Nonno, Famiglia Muccini and Buogustaio, among other establishments.

Part of the revenue goes to Casa da Criança com Câncer. According to the October 2026 report, since 2023 the festival has already raised more than R$ 160,000 for the institution.

What to expect: the event is a way to try more sophisticated restaurants at a fixed price, but the list of participants changes with every edition. Check the official list for the current edition and make a reservation, especially for dinners and weekends. Terms, menus and table availability are set by each restaurant.
