The cultural complex designed by Oscar Niemeyer atop the Cabo Branco cliff has free admission and a lookout tower over the sea.

Estação Cabo Branco – Ciência, Cultura e Artes was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and opened on July 3, 2008, under then-mayor Ricardo Coutinho, in the Cabo Branco neighborhood, atop the seaside cliff. The complex totals more than 8,500 m² of built area and brings together a lookout tower, an auditorium with about 500 seats, convention rooms, an open-air amphitheater and exhibition space. In May 2012 a second unit was opened, adding 4,500 m², dedicated to exhibitions, congresses and conferences.

The venue is part of the network of cultural facilities run by the João Pessoa City Hall and is intended to offer science, art, culture and technology to the public free of charge. According to information released by the city hall itself in April 2024, opening hours became Tuesday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 am to 6 pm, extending service on weekends.

Because it is built atop the cliff, Estação Cabo Branco also functions as a natural lookout point: from the tower it is possible to see the coastline toward Ponta do Seixas, one of the easternmost points of the Americas. The building is recognized as one of Niemeyer's last major works in the Northeast and is treated by the city as a postcard image of the city, alongside the Cabo Branco Lighthouse.

Since opening hours and programming can change, especially on holidays, it is recommended to check the official website or the Estação Cabo Branco's profile before visiting.
